One of the Commission’s main activities is to organise youth conferences. The first conference “Young Voices – of the Baltic Sea Region” took place in Kalmar in 2003 and was followed by a conference two years later in Vilnius called “Young and active in the Baltic Sea Region.”
In September 2007 the third conference “Under the surface” that took place in Pärnu, Estonia and the fourth one in Kristiansand, Norway – “Bridges Over the Sea” in 2009.
The next youth conference is planned to take place in 2011.
