The chair of the UBC Youthful Cities Commission (YCC) for the period of 2016 and 2017 is Gävle Municipality, the vice chair is the city of Kolding, Denmark.

As always the Youthful Cities Commission cannot cover the travel and accommodation costs but all meals, local transportation during the meeting and meeting materials will be provided to all particip ANTs.

UBC Youthful Cities Youth Conference – Youth for equality, equity and peace

Parallel to the UBC General Assembly in Gdynia Poland, the YCC organised a youth conference with the title “Youth for Equality, Equity and Peace”

Main topics of the conference was to gather youth views on equality, equity and peace and present it to the GA.

The output was a BALTIC YOUTH DECLARATION – which at the moment is just being finalized and will be published soon.

Pictures and reports from the conference will be uploaded to the webpage shortly.

 

UBC Youthful Cities open meeting in Kolding, Denmark. 26.-29.05.2015

UBC- Youthful Cities Commission is please to invite you to participate in our next open meeting in Kolding, Denmark. The meeting will be held in 26.-29.5.2015. You will find the invitation letter from the mayor of Kolding, as well as the application form and the program of the meeting in the attachments. The practical information are in the bottom of the attached programme. The main topics of the meeting are non-formal learning and gender equality. For new and fresh ideas we kindly ask all the participant cities to prepare a presentation on “youth projects/actions related to gender equality in your city”.

As always the Commission on Youth Issues cannot cover the travel and accommodation costs but all meals, local transportation during the meeting and meeting materials will be provided to all participants.

We kindly ask you to send back the application form the latest on the 30th of April, 2015. Please, forward this mail to the relevant partners.
